Ashley Hernandez is the Founder and Associate Broker of Elite Real Estate Group, a growing real estate team serving Abilene and communities throughout the Big Country. A top-producing REALTOR® and experienced real estate professional, Ashley has successfully navigated more than 100 closed transactions representing over $20 million in real estate sales throughout her career.

Today, Ashley leads Elite Real Estate Group's team of four producing agents, combining her passion for serving clients with a commitment to developing knowledgeable, confident, and successful real estate professionals.

Rooted in the Big Country
Raised in Merkel, Texas, Ashley's connection to the Big Country runs deep. She serves clients throughout Abilene, Merkel, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Clyde, Baird, Snyder, and surrounding communities, bringing firsthand knowledge of the area's neighborhoods, school districts, subdivisions, acreage, new construction, and ever-changing market conditions.

Her business has been built on more than simply helping people buy and sell homes. Ashley believes real estate professionals should serve as educators, advocates, and trusted advisors, giving clients the knowledge they need to make confident decisions—whether they're purchasing their first home, selling a longtime family property, relocating to the area, investing, or building something new.

Experience That Goes Beyond the Transaction
Before entering real estate, Ashley earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Education from McMurry University and spent several years as a fifth-grade math teacher. She later worked as a sales executive with Zillow, gaining valuable experience in consumer behavior, digital real estate platforms, lead conversion, and market analytics.

That combination of education, analytics, sales, and real-world transaction experience has shaped the way Ashley approaches real estate today.

She is known for breaking complicated situations into understandable options, developing data-driven pricing and negotiation strategies, and helping clients understand not just what they are doing—but why.

Her experience spans residential buyers and sellers, first-time homebuyers, VA buyers, relocation clients, investors, multifamily properties, estate sales, new construction, luxury properties, and unique or complex transactions.

As Founder of Elite Real Estate Group, Ashley is equally passionate about developing the agents around her.

She actively mentors and educates agents in areas including contracts, negotiation, lead conversion, marketing, client experience, business development, and navigating challenging transactions. Her goal is to build a brokerage culture where agents are encouraged to continually learn, grow, raise their standards, and become better versions of themselves—both professionally and personally.

She is a Leadership Abilene Class of 2025 graduate, recipient of the Rising Star Award from the Abilene Association of REALTORS®, and holds the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation.

Outside of work, Ashley's greatest priority is her family. She enjoys traveling, cooking, staying active, and spending time watching and supporting her children in their activities and sports.
